Responsive Web Design 2e (Intro & Chapter. 1)This new interactive version of Responsive Web Design pushes the importance of responsive design. All artists start off with a blank canvas. With that whitespace anything is possible. Computers and the web are just a new digital medium and changes the experience of art. Just like a piece of canvas we must distinguish it's dimensions (height & width). The canvas in our case is the browser window. To define the best types of design is by its experience. Users define their experience by the ease and flexibility of the responsive design. Responsive simple meanings allowing the web page to be easily manipulated by the constraints of the device that is using the web page. Responsive design will fluidly change the constraints, content, images and design based on the dimensions of the browser, computer, tablet, or mobile device. Way of creating this fluidity is through flexible grids, flexible media and media queries.
