Week 9B

In Class work time:

Visual Inventory

For the next part of our non-profit organization process we are designing a visual inventory based on our reading http://danielmall.com/articles/visual-inventory/. Overall our goal for the visual inventory is to show a bunch of different examples of websites that could work in the three categories. The first category is concept. Concept is the over cohesiveness of the website. Some ways I thought could work for my website is a story-based design, personal approach, or community approach. The second and third categories are tone and color. Tone and color are fairly similar but different at the same time. Tone can be described as the visual approach to your website. A color is the literal color and how it make you feel based on the combination of color palette. The end result of the visual inventory would be sent to the client for approval.

During class...

We were given the opportunity to research and work on our visual inventories during the entire class time. Here are some images that I pulled for my visual inventory. By the end of class I realized how long it takes to research and search images on the web/books. Simply looking at images and webpages takes a long time.
